Smits Group is pleased to announce a new distribution relationship with FRSH Scents to deliver you car air fresheners that have a FRSH design and fine fragrances to keep your space looking good and smelling FRSH.
FRSH Scents pushes to lead the industry to deliver a high quality product while ensuring a high focus on sustainability. Every FRSH Scents product reduces waste and poverty. As a socially responsible manufacturer, FRSH Scents wanted to ensure they were a part of the solution, not the problem, and have developed a brand and product range that is great for customers, but also contributes to the greater good.
FRSH Scents works with The Plastic Bank, which is an offset program, with a mission to stop Ocean Plastic and to improve the lives of those in poverty. Every FRSH Scents product contributes to the program and pays for the equivalent of 3 plastic bottles to be collected and recycled. As a result all the FRSH Scents products are responsible for more plastic being reclaimed and recycled than is used to make the air freshener. This means each FRSH Scents product is Certified Plastic Neutral. So you can now enjoy the use of your FRSH Scents air fresheners, knowing you have done good for the environment and helping those in poverty.
TURNING WASTE INTO CURRENCY
By enabling the exchange of plastic for money, items or Blockchain secured digital tokens, The Plastic Bank reveals the value in plastic. This empowers recycling ecosystems around the world and stops the flow of plastic into our oceans. All while helping people living in poverty build better futures.
The Plastic Bank creates social and environmental impact in areas with high levels of poverty and plastic pollution by turning plastic waste into a currency.
To do this, The Plastic Bank provides a consistent, above-market rate for plastic waste, thus incentivising its collection. Individuals who gather our plastic can trade it for money, items or services. The Plastic Bank also provides the ability for local entrepreneurs to set up and operate a convenience store for the poor, in which plastic waste is the currency. Plastic collected through The Plastic Bank is recycled and sold at a premium as Social Plastic®.
